Pastor's Bio

Meet Our Pastor, the Rev. Kelly R. Andrews

Rev. Kelly R. Andrews is a native of Battleboro, N.C. and is the son of Margaret and David Randolph, Jr. of Rocky Mount, NC. He has three siblings, Jackie, Nicolus, and Shelia.

Rev. Andrews is a graduate of North Edgecombe High School in Leggett, N.C. He served in the United States Navy from 1988-1992 and is a veteran of foreign war. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Shaw University in Raleigh, N.C. and an associate degree in the same field from Edgecombe Community College, Tarboro, N.C. He is also a graduate of the former Eastern North Carolina Theological Institute (currently Eastern Carolina Christian College) in Roanoke Rapids, N.C.
Rev. Andrews was licensed to preach on January 10, 1999, at the St Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, Tarboro, N.C and was ordained on June 25, 2000, at the Union Baptist Church, Tarboro, N.C. under the leadership of the Rev. Robert C. Farmer.

He is married to the former Frances Flowers of Tarboro, N.C. and they are the parents of two children, Cheryl Guilford and Tonja Hall; two sons-in-law, James Guilford and the late DeAngelo Hall; six grandchildren, Nikia, Carmen, Nyla, Jamie, and Jamia; and one great-grandson, Robbie.
Rev. Andrews’ favorite scripture is Proverbs 3:5-6: Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.
